Our team has been working in the VR film industry since 2015, and over the years we have seen all the amazing ways our content was used by clients from all over the world: from pain relief in a Hong Kong hospital to education in Swedish classrooms and improving well-being in elderly homes in the US, the Netherlands and France. It showed us how our independently produced experiences could genuinely change lives, but also that the technology was not easily available to the people working with it directly, making it hard to access and often too expensive. JadeVR is our own answer to both problems at once.
JadeVR makes experiencing high-quality VR video for healthcare, elderly care, education and business both affordable and easy. The library holds more than 200 travel, nature and relaxation videos filmed all over the globe by our own crew, and new experiences are added every month. Everything is categorised into Travel, Nature, Animals, Documentaries, Up In The Air, and Relaxation and Meditation, so you simply make your selection and you are ready to go. All of it meets the highest industry standards for viewer comfort.
JadeVR is for anyone who wants to enrich the lives of others through VR. Carers use it to combat loneliness and boredom and to restore a sense of purpose. Nurses give children who are hospitalised for extended periods a brief escape. Teachers take a class on a virtual field trip to Machu Picchu between two lessons. Companies offer their employees a mini-holiday to relieve stress, and service providers get a ready-to-use content library for their sessions and events.
The app is built so that inexperienced users find their way immediately, with eye-gaze control and the option to steer one or several headsets at the same tije from a phone or tablet, which is ideal for group sessions. It runs on Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro and on Pico 4, Neo3 and G3, and it can be rolled out through headset management platforms such as ManageXR and ArborXR.
Subscriptions start at $14,99 per headset per month, or $149,99 per year, from five headsets and up, and can be cancelled at any time. The Enterprise plan at $19,99 per headset adds your own branding and app title, a content selection service, remote control from a tablet, and the option to add your own material. You can install the app from the Meta or Pico store and watch a few episodes for free before you decide.
