VR Experience with IDP’s in DRC

By April 4, 2018 No Comments

We have just returned from a trip to the ‘Democratic Republic’ of Congo, where 4.5 million people have been internally displaced (IDP). They are refugees in their own country, fleeing from extreme violence and often gruesome sexual assault against women. They rely on the good work of Stichting Vlcuhteling and local partners like the International Rescue Committee (IRC) for the most basic of needs.

We hope the upcoming VR films we are making will help to make the urgency of humanitarian aid in the DRC more visible..

This is second time we joined SV on a trip to a crisis region. December 2015 we traveled to northern Iraq to capture stories of Syrian refugees. Want to read more about this ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’ project: click here.
